Welcome to the music room! We have lots of exciting things going on----you can see pictures of the Kindergarten "doing
their thing" to the William Tell Overture, you can download a form to submit a name for our Veteran's Wall of Fame,
and you can find out about when the next concert is. Sixth grade parents are welcome to download the expectations for sixth
grade choir. We'll be adding new things, so check back again soon!

Our Veteran's Day concert is Monday, November 3. Sixth graders, your T-shirt orders need to be turned in by Friday,
October 10. You may submit names for the Veteran's Wall anytime. Download a form here, or pick one up in the main office.

In the News
Congratulations to all the students who participated in Opus this fall! We had over twenty students who gave it a try;
of those, the following students completed their auditions: Fifth graders: Sadie Scaggs, Saje Ites, Ally Sheridan, Caleb Smith;
Sixth graders: Chelsea Meyer, Kassidy Krause, Austin Richards, Kayla Jaenke, Emily Long and Jamie Jass. In order to audition,
these students learned two pieces of music and sang them a capella (without accompaniment). One of them was "Woke Up
This Mornin'" and the other was a Macedonian folk song, "Tatkovina." They worked very hard to learn the
Russian!!!!! Way to go!!!!!!!
